False Advertising... well, misleading?
So today, the same as everyday, I opened my email, and low and behold, there was a substantional number of emails, and most, promising me, that if I bought their program, software, or e-book, I would be rich.
Well, I don't really care about getting rich(bullshit, of course I do) but even living comfortably, would be great! You know what I mean....not having to take the beer bottles back to the store, I could give them to some kid for a bottle drive or something.
Sorry, got off topic, I was going to write a spiel about false advertising......or more close to the point, misleading advertising. I'll give you a perfect example, today, I took a shower, the same thing I do everyday. The product I've been using, promised I'd notice a change in my skin, within a week of using their product. Well, it's been two weeks, I still have all the wrinkles I had, and the old "sac" still looks like it's a bag holding 2 raisons!
Now I knew full well, before I started using the product, I wasn't going to become the next Brad Pitt, nor did I care. The thing is, everyday, we are bombarded by some new "get Rich quick" scheme, and so many people fall for it. People making us promises, that they don't deliver on.
When I started this journey into the internet marketing field, my intention was to never "suck" some poor person like myself in, and "steal" their hard earned money, along with a piece of their dream. I had hoped to make a difference, and actually help someone, just like myself, to earn an honest living, through hard work, determination, and a little luck thrown in.
So, if you are an internet marketer, and you read this, please, think about the things you promote. The people that buy your products, are just like you were, when you started out. They had a dream, a hope, that they could someday, make a comfortable living, and not have the life sucked out of them, trying!
