MY VALENTINE

MY VALENTINE
My valentine is not made of flesh
But he sure gives me happiness
To me he's never raised his hand
He my joy a wonderful man
And when it seems the chips are down
And know one else is still around
He promised me in Matthew 28
That by my side he'd always stay
When I'm right and when I'm wrong
He still takes the time to pick up his phone
He has prepared for me a place
Not for my righteousness but by his grace
All I have to do is pray
And let the Holy Spirit have his way
Now look girls don't hang up the phone
I don't hang up on you when you sing Malcom songs
And yes I sure loved Malcom too
But my man does things that Malcom can't do
He heals the sick and he still raises the dead
When I was hungry food to me he fed
One day when I lost my mind
He regulated it with joy sublime
And I ain't mad at you because you get your love in a box
Wrapped up by a ribbon and plenty of talk
But my man is holy and he saves souls
Every day of my life helps me to reach my goals
So don't knock mine and I want knock yours
Reach for the skies and soon you will soar
But I'm waiting for a trumpet that blows so loud
Then my lover and I will meet in the clouds
