Most of us already know of Bill Rancic. He was the original winner of Donald Trump's reality television show The Apprentice. In addition to these pursuits, he is an internationally renowned motivational speaker, making many high paid corporate appearances all throughout the year.

If you watched Bill win Trump's show or you have heard about his success, you may be sitting back and thinking that you could never do that yourself. And in some respects that may be true. Most likely none of us will have the chance to win a huge network TV reality show and then have another one document our lives. That kind of stuff just can't happen for everyone.

However, what can happen is that you reach for new heights and accomplish goals and objectives that you didn't think were possible before. No matter what stage of life you're in and no matter what you're looking to achieve, there is a way to make it happen. It all needs to start with hard work and dedication, and you need to really apply yourself in order to see success come in your direction.

The one thing that will always hold true is that you need to make an effort and put yourself out there. If you never give it a try and you never apply yourself, then of course your goals well never come to fruition. However, the worst thing that happens when you do try is that you suffer a setback, and you get a chance to try again or move onto something else, learning from your experiences and taking pride in your effort.

So don't sit around and wait for something great to happen for you. You're right, you may not win a reality show like Bill Rancic did... but you can accomplish another huge goal if you set your mind to it. You need to get out there and give it a shot, and that's what you can learn from someone like Rancic. Set a goal, no matter how large, small or audacious and do everything you can to reach success.
